Great UI, notes, lots of puzzles

I bought this app when it was $0.99 but the price isnt what sold me, it was the interface. The board is easy to read, the "buttons" only appear when you activate them (unlike many of the more expensive Sudoku apps) and the game has yet to crash on me. Also, I have fat fingers but the "buttons" accurately respond to me. This is a well made app and I look forward to seeing what else Phase2 produces.

Im surprised so many people are complaining about this app considering how good it really is. Its simple interface is exactly what Im looking for. The game is free and has lots of puzzles that come loaded with it. What more do you need in a sudoku app?

easy to use, good looking interface. Looks a lot better than the other free sudoku out there and is a lot easier to use! Love the extra options, like the number showing up in red if I make a mistake! Awesome! Thank you!

Quality is very good. Ill defenetly buy Sudoku Unlimited after I played this one - cool themes will be added for money.

If you are a fan of Sudoku, this is a great app. There are many puzzles in five different difficulties, and there are a couple features that can increase or decrease the difficulty and the way Sudoku is played based on your preferences. This is great for the price.

Easy to use, has all the right tools, and its free. What more do you need.

I got this while it was still free yay... but even for .99$ its still a good deal. the interface is amazing and its actually fun to play

I bought this app a while back, around when it came out and so I actually paid for it, that was version 1.0 and heres version 1.03 and it doesnt come up in the updates collum and here it wants me to pay for it. Wtf

The new update corrects the few problems I had with this app. In particular, the ability to move around the input pad helps a lot!

Free or not.

I was so impressed by Sudoku Daily that Im buying the full version. The skins are beautiful, but what impressed me was the ease of reading and manipulating the pencil marks, how number entry does not block out important squares (it comes up without overlapping the row/column in question and can be moved or made transparent), being able to turn error indicators on and off, how number entry remembers whether its in pencil or number mode, etc. --- fully thought out for ease of use, as befits a product for an Apple platform.

I really wanted to like this one. Clean, simple, complete interface with no extraneous eye-candy clutter. Just Sudoku. Except that its not Sudoku. While I am far from an expert Sudoku player, I do know that true Sudoku puzzles are symetrical. These are not. End of story. In fairness, the same is true of many of the Sudoku apps in the App Store.

Never being a sudoku player before I downloaded this app, I found it really easy to use and made learning how to play sudoku really fast. The recent updates that make it easy to move the pop up window for selecting numbers made this product even more functional and Ive always loved that I can listen to my own music while playing. Keep up the good work.

Small bug that changed all my score records date had fixed on 1.03. I think it is perfect now!

Best implementation of Sudoku Ive seen & certainly cheap enough.

This is the best implementation of sudoku that i have seen on any platform. Granted, there seem to be some nice features in some of the other versions on the iPhone, but this one seemed the easiest/quickest to actually use. Im writing a review because the average score needs to be bumped for how the product actually runs (rather than the silly price in the title thing, that had most people lower the score)

I have killed probably ab out 30 hours by now. Great game. I especially like that it can fill out the little memo numbers itself, saving me from tedious and uninteresting work. One thing I would like to see is more helpful hints - the app should not only tell what to do, but also why so that I could learn.
